The International Support for Ukraine Foundation (hereinafter – the Foundation) is a federally incorporated non-profit, non-governmental organization, established under the Canada Not-for-profit Corporations Act (Corporation Number: [to be assigned]).
The Foundation operates across Canada and internationally, working in cooperation with governmental institutions, international donors, civil society organizations, and private-sector partners. Its mission is to provide comprehensive humanitarian, social, educational, cultural, infrastructure, and economic support to Ukrainians affected by war and crisis, while fostering sustainable development, democratic resilience, and institutional capacity through transparent and accountable international collaboration.
The Foundation actively promotes the development, attraction, and implementation of donor-compliant international programs, grants, and projects aimed at the recovery, strengthening of civic institutions, and long-term sustainable growth of Ukraine.
The Foundation’s primary mission is to mobilize investments, grant funding, and international technical assistance to strengthen democratic resilience, sustainable development, and institutional capacity in Ukraine.
The Foundation works to attract and implement resources in support of:
social and humanitarian initiatives that promote human dignity, inclusion, and equal access to opportunities;
entrepreneurial development and support for startups and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), fostering a transparent, rules-based market economy and ethical business practices as a pillar of democratic growth;
educational, cultural, and civic initiatives that strengthen democratic values, active citizenship, pluralism, and community participation;
infrastructure and institutional development projects that enhance accountability, local governance capacity, and sustainable community resilience;

Humanitarian and Social Resilience Support
Provision of structured humanitarian and social assistance to internally displaced persons, veterans, families with children, persons with disabilities, and other vulnerable groups, promoting inclusion, dignity, and community reintegration.
Civic, Educational and Cultural Development
Implementation of educational, cultural, and civic engagement initiatives aimed at strengthening democratic values, active citizenship, social cohesion, and preservation of cultural heritage. This includes cooperation with educational and community institutions to deliver training, grants, and institutional capacity-building programs.
Democratic Economic Development and SME Support
Support for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and innovative startups through transparent sub-grant and capacity-building programs that promote ethical entrepreneurship, accountability, and a rules-based market economy.
Community-Based Assistance and Empowerment
Targeted material, psychological, and advisory support programs designed to empower individuals facing critical life circumstances and enhance their participation in social and economic life.
Institutional and Sustainable Development Programs
Design and implementation of international development initiatives in partnership with global donors and financial institutions, focused on strengthening governance capacity, transparency, innovation, and long-term community resilience.
To provide consistent and effective social, humanitarian, and scientific-technical assistance to Ukrainians affected by war and crisis, strengthening resilience and social cohesion.
