The International Support for Ukraine Foundation (ISUF) is pleased to announce its official incorporation in Canada as a federally incorporated non-profit organization under the Canada Not-for-profit Corporations Act on June 17, 2026.

The establishment of ISUF represents an important milestone in building a strong institutional foundation dedicated to supporting humanitarian, educational, cultural, infrastructure, community, infrastructure, and economic development initiatives related to Ukraine and Ukrainian communities internationally.

Following incorporation, ISUF began the process of establishing its governance framework, including the appointment of the Board of Directors and the development of internal governance structures to ensure transparency, accountability, and effective organizational management.

June 29, 2026

On June 29, 2026, the International Support for Ukraine Foundation held its first official Board of Directors meeting, marking the beginning of the Foundation’s governance and strategic development phase.

During this meeting, the Board initiated the implementation of key institutional priorities, including the development of governance policies, strategic planning processes, operational procedures, and mechanisms to ensure responsible management and long-term sustainability.

The Foundation continues to strengthen its organizational capacity and prepare for cooperation with non-profit organizations, charitable foundations, private foundations, public institutions, international organizations, universities, healthcare institutions, financial institutions, businesses, donors, and civil society partners in Canada and internationally.
