International Foundation "Support Ukrainians" periodically announces competitions for support of grant projects that meet our priority goals. In this section, you can familiarize yourself with the list of current competitions and those that have already taken place or will take place.
"INTERNATIONAL CONNECTION"
Ukrainian culture and education are essential drivers of social resilience and international dialogue. In order to foster cultural development, educational innovation, and meaningful youth engagement, it is critical to promote international exchange, experience-sharing, and intercultural cooperation.
However, communities, educational institutions, and cultural organizations (hereinafter – Applicants) are currently facing unprecedented challenges and require additional support to adapt and thrive.
To address these needs, the International Foundation “Support Ukrainians” will launch a micro-grant program to support experience exchange, professional training, and the promotion of cultural initiatives that strengthen intercultural understanding.
This call for proposals will be part of the broader “International Connection” project, implemented by the International Foundation “Support Ukrainians” with financial support from ([Donor Name / Funding Organization]).
Detailed guidelines and application instructions will be published on the Foundation’s official website in the “Grants” section.
"SUPPORT OF SMALL AND MEDIUM-SIZED BUSINESSES, AND INNOVATIVE STARTUPS"
As a result of russia’s full-scale armed aggression, Ukrainian small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) have suffered immense losses—including the destruction of production infrastructure, disrupted supply chains, and the suspension of services. In these conditions, SMEs and early-stage entrepreneurs (hereinafter – Applicants) are facing urgent needs and must adapt to unprecedented economic and operational challenges.
To address these needs, the International Foundation “Support Ukrainians” is launching a targeted micro-grant program aimed at:
restoring and scaling existing businesses;
launching innovative startups;
and promoting business resilience through recovery-oriented solutions.
This grant competition is part of the broader "Support for SMEs and Startups" initiative, implemented by the International Foundation “Support Ukrainians” with financial support from ([Donor/Funding Organization]).
Detailed information on the eligibility criteria, funding amounts, and application procedures will be published on the Foundation’s official website in the “Grants” section.
"REBUILDING LIVES AND LOCAL INFRASTRUCTURE"
The war in Ukraine has caused severe damage to both critical infrastructure and private property, leaving many individuals and communities in urgent need of repair, reconstruction, and recovery. While the public sector addresses large-scale infrastructure challenges, local communities, sole proprietors, and individual households (hereinafter – Applicants) also face enormous pressure to restore their living and working environments.
In response, the International Foundation “Support Ukrainians” is launching a targeted micro-grant program to support:
the repair and reconstruction of damaged property and local infrastructure;
the revitalization of community spaces and services;
and individual recovery efforts for those whose homes or livelihoods were affected by the war.
This initiative will be implemented under the broader "Rebuilding Lives and Local Infrastructure" project, with financial support from ([Donor/Funding Organization]).
Detailed application procedures and eligibility guidelines will be available on the Foundation’s website in the “Grants” section.
"ASSISTANCE TO MOTHERS AND LARGE FAMILIES"
Providing Essential Support to Vulnerable Families
Single mothers, large families, and those in crisis situations have been disproportionately affected by the humanitarian consequences of the war in Ukraine. Many families are facing extreme hardship, lacking access to essential items for daily living, childcare, and basic health and hygiene.
To respond to these urgent needs, the International Foundation “Support Ukrainians” will launch a micro-grant program to deliver targeted social assistance to vulnerable families.
This initiative aims to support the most affected households by providing baby food, personal hygiene items, medicines, seasonal clothing, and essential household goods, thereby helping to restore dignity and meet the basic needs of families with children.
This call for proposals will be part of the broader “Assistance to Mothers and Large Families” program, implemented by the International Foundation “Support Ukrainians” with financial support from ([Donor Name / Funding Organization]).
Detailed application guidelines and eligibility criteria will be published on the Foundation’s official website in the “Grants” section.
